This interactive session will be led by Julia Ravindran\, Associate Professor of Fashion Design at Marymount University\, who will guide attendees through the principles of building a capsule wardrobe\, a curated collection of versatile\, timeless pieces that reduce waste\, save money\, and simplify everyday dressing.\n\n\n\nFollowing the learning portion\, participants are invited to take part in a free clothing swap\, creating an opportunity to refresh your professional wardrobe sustainably while connecting with others in the community. \nWhether you’re new to sustainable fashion or looking to refine your wardrobe with purpose\, this event offers practical takeaways\, meaningful conversation\, and a fun\, social atmosphere. \nWhat to Expect \n\nExpert-led discussion on sustainable fashion and capsule wardrobes\nTips on shopping less\, styling more\, and making intentional wardrobe choices\nFree professional clothing swap (optional participation)\nNetworking in a relaxed\, welcoming environment\nDrinks and light refreshments sponsored by Ballston BID\n\nClothing Swap Guidelines \n\nAttendees are encouraged to bring 1–3 pre-loved professional clothing items\nItems should be clean and in good condition\nThis is a swap only\, not a donation drive\nPlease do not bring more than 3 items\n\nEach attendee will receive one drink ticket\, redeemable for one alcoholic /non alcoholic beverage.
